Giovanna's houses are far from being just houses, you will feel so comfortable that you'll call them homes.
Giovanna's homes are set in the heart of Alghero
in a very strategic position, at 50 metres from the street where you can arrive by car, at 300 metres from the port and the free parking area, and a few metres from the bus stop.
The Giovanna Residence building dates back to the 18th century. Over the centuries other houses have been built on both sides of the building. During the renovation and conservative rehabilitation works, an original window was found on the first floor, which can be seen along the staircase leading to the apartments, and a door that led to the outside, visible in the Smeraldo apartment. The original sandstones have been brought to light with a careful process. The renovation of the building was total but was carried out according to conservation criteria. The first guests were received at the end of July 2019.

SURROUNDINGS
With a total extent of over 5,000 hectares, the Porto Conte Regional Park is a great example of biodiversity, hosting numerous animal and plant species. The Capo Caccia-Isola Piana Marine Protected Area extends between Capo Caccia and Le Gesserie, with a total extension of 2,631 hectare and 36,144 metres of coast. The characters of the famous Saint Exupery’s book “The Little Prince” show the habitats of the Porto Conte Natural Park, through an interactive multimedia exhibition.
The Neptune’s Cave, a splendid and famous limestone cave accessible both by land and by sea, on the slopes of the Capo Caccia promontory (24 km from the city).
TOWN
The Archaeological Museum is designed to illustrate the prehistory and history of the territory of Alghero. Another interesting museum you could visit is the Museum of Coral. Visiting the historical centre of Alghero is indeed a unique experience. The Porta Terra Tower, ancient entrance to the city-fortress, 50 metres from Residenza Giovanna, is considered as the ideal starting point of the tour in the old town.
An important tourist attraction is the Civic Theatre, which dates back to 1862.
Dating back to the XV century, the church of St Francis is the most ancient church in the old town.
BEACHES
The beautiful beaches of Alghero, with crystal clear waters and white sand will offer the opportunity to spend unforgettable and relaxing vacations.
Just to name some of the Beaches: Maria Pia - Le Bombarde - Mugoni - Lazzaretto - Punta Negra - Las Tronas - La Pelosa in Stintino. A few metres from Residenza Giovanna is the bus stop, which allows you to easily reach the most diverse beaches and the airport
